Skin damage by free radicals plays an important role in the aging process. But what are free radicals and what makes them so dangerous? Then we learn to the skin to heal without major damage.
Free radicals - What Are They
The radicals are natural molecules that are not always harmful. Several factors can in this way.
First, there are things that interest them. Toxins in the environment, our water and our skin care products cause radicals in an odd way. Cigarette smoke chemicals, pollutants and toxins may belong to the sun.
The excitement in the Sun
The main cause of their excitement is UV radiation from the Sun Sun damage, including wrinkles and uneven pigmentation, are in fact visible signs of skin damage from free radicals.
Dermatologists have recently found that the increase radicals accompanies the aging process.
Damage caused by the excited radicals are a cause of age at the cellular level, within and outside the body. Combined with a chronic inflammation and a few other process is the molecular activity that makes our organs and organisms break down the causes of our risk of cancer as we age.
The antioxidant content - Decreased
Another part of the aging process that allows the radicals to be teasing a decrease of antioxidants in the body. poor absorption of nutrients is partly to blame for.
Common antioxidants are vitamins like A, C and E. There are also many less common antioxidants, but very powerful. The body needs to perform some functions, but one of their great work for the radicals before damage occurs radical skin.
poor absorption of nutrients by the mucosa of the gastrointestinal tract is a part of the aging process. Loss of appetite and poor nutrition contribute to this poor absorption. Thus, older people have great difficulty all the nutrients they need through diet alone.
Dermatologists believe that this could be the reason for the decrease in the antioxidant content of skin and a reason that the damage caused by radical skin seems faster and faster with age to be. Once the first few wrinkles seen, they seem to pop up and become faster.
For many years, excessive sun exposure is the fault of wrinkles. In fact, people have known about the damage the sun could make hundreds if not thousands of years. This is why girls have learned to wear hats or an umbrella to bring their faces to protect.
But it is only in recent years that an understanding of the molecular processes involved in the process of aging and wrinkling. It took even longer for scientists to understand why smokers are more likely to deeper wrinkles and looking faces.
Free radicals are not the only cause of aging in the body. They are not the only cause of the visible signs of aging. But it is one of the main causes.
There are several things you can do to help prevent radical damage to skin, but you probably want to know about the healing that has already occurred. This is the subject of my next article.
The next section will discuss how to heal without major skin damage. See the link for the article in the box below the corresponding author. The solution is simple to do.
